Industry Highlights of 2024
Project Spotlight:
Nurse Life for Ascension
In 2024, Ascension had over 106,000 associates and 105 wholly owned or consolidated hospitals making Ascension one of the nation’s leading non-profit and Catholic health systems. We’ve been working with Ascension since 2017. For this project we were tasked with traveling to Jacksonville, Florida to document their nursing team on the job.
I arrived by 6am to photograph a nurse huddle. The nursing staff knew we were coming and outside of them wearing their finest scrubs they were all going about their normal work day, while I took a very photo-journalistic approach to the day. I always appreciate the chance to see health care professionals at work.
Project Spotlight:
Yard Operations for Miron Construction
Miron Construction Co., Inc. provides innovative preconstruction, construction management, design-build, industrial, and general construction services to multiple markets throughout the nation. Miron is headquartered in Neenah, WI, with Yard Operations located in Menasha, WI, and regional offices throughout Wisconsin, Upper Michigan and Iowa. Graham Images was hired in 2024 to create lifestyle photo libraries at all of their offices.
The goal of the project was to be able to highlight the culture of each of their locations. Not only how each office looked, but more importantly to showcase the team spirit in each of the office locations.
”Graham has always been a pleasure to work with. He’s responsive, collaborative, incredibly talented, and always provides us with stunning images. Put simply, Graham is just easy to work with and an all-around great guy.”
-Jen Bauer, Executive Vice President, Marketing & Culture at Miron Construction
Project Spotlight:
Wall Manufacturing for KI
KI hired Graham Images to photograph their Manitowoc KI Wall Manufacturing plant on a full day shoot.
The goal was to develop a library of images that show the production of the KI Wall products and highlight the people doing the work. This gallery of images was one of my favorites in 2024. We were focused on three main buckets of photography: honest portraits, quality craftsmanship in action and abstract industry details. The overhead view of Bob the Bender (above) feels like we’re looking down on a maze, it was a fun one to create from the top of a rolling staircase!
“Graham is an incredibly talented photographer. He has a very creative approach and can make anything look like art. He is quick on his feet and brings a whole new level of excitement to a photoshoot.”
- Karolina Dryndak, Marketing & Communications at KI Wall
