Personal Projects

Women at Work

Women at Work was a personal project I began in 2019. Women at Work is all about shining a light on women working in the architecture, engineering and construction community—an industry statistically dominated by men. Reinforcing the message, “If you see it, you can be it,” the project celebrates and showcases women who are creating our built environment in NorthEast Wisconsin. Together, they’re paving the way for others to pursue a rewarding and dynamic career path in the industry. The final product was a book that all proceeds from sales was donated to empowHER WI, a local nonprofit working to create a positive change for women in the construction industry.

SHE Leads

Tradeswomen Build Nations is the largest gathering of unionized tradeswomen in the world! In 2025, we were able to partner with The Boldt Company to have a booth and host our She Leads Portrait Project. She Leads is all about shining a light on women in the trades and empowering other women to pursue careers in the AEC industries.

Photo Opp

In 2021, I co-founded Photo Opp, an Appleton-based nonprofit dedicated to building a welcoming community and inspiring lifelong learning. We provide hands-on education, creative opportunities, and resources for photographers and videographers of all levels while amplifying community stories and fostering visual expression.

My involvement at Photo Opp has continued to be rewarding. From strengthening our role as a community hub: expanding educational opportunities, fostering collaboration, and increasing access through shared equipment, studio space, inclusive programming, and hiring our first employee at the end of 2025. I’m grateful to be part of this growing organization of talent and storytelling.
