Best of December 2017

December brought me a good bit of variety, especially during a frigid Wisconsin winter.

The month started with photographing at a Mile of Music Best Of concert at Tanners. I was able to do some portraits backstage and then shoot some performance photos. I caught up with The Kernal for a portrait the day after.

I meet up with some more awesome volunteers in our community as part of my on going freelance work with the Good Neighbor stories for The Post-Crescent.

I photographed a new addition to an industrial building in the Fox Cities.

I did some work with genr8tor's gBETA program, a start-up accelerator. This is the first group of teams that took part of the program in the Fox Cities. Applications are being accepted for the next group. (DEALINE IS THIS FRIDAY!!! LINK HERE, then click on the APPLY SPRING 2018 button)

I am currently working on a project with Fox Valley Symphony for their Sinfonia concert.  This year's theme is Sinfonia Goes to the Movies. We're recreating movie posters from the music they are playing at the concert. Pink Panther was our first poster.

I closed out the year with some music on the eve of New Year's Eve. A portrait of Girl Blue, and The Dead Horses playing to a packed house at The Source Public House.

Personally... it was nice to have some down time during the Holidays. We got to visit with family and relax. The kids really enjoyed Christmas... and they're another month older.
